Social Media, Smartphones + Youth Mental Health

SnapChat. Instagram. Facebook. Twitter. YouTube. Texting. For most young people, smartphones and social media are a significant part of their daily lives. Understanding the data on the positive and negative impact of social media and smartphones on young people's mental and emotional well-being can help parents, educators, and young people set healthy boundaries for safe and responsible usage. This workshop provides evidence-based recommendations for smart social media and digital technology usage.
