Mental Health 101

 

Recognizing + Responding to Mental Health Challenges

Do you know the signs that a person may have a mental health challenge? What should you do if you suspect that mental illness is contributing to poor performance, a behavior problem, or danger to self or others? Participants will learn how to recognize signs of a possible mental health challenge, what practical steps to take to respond to a suicidal person or mental health crisis, suicide prevention, and how to make referrals for professional help.

2 to 8 hours

Can be customized for K12 schools, higher education institutions, the workplace, or government, community, and faith-based organizations.   Multiple day trainings available.

Youth Mental Health 101 addresses mental health problems in children and adolescents under age 18.
